I think it's normal to ban some kind of books in a country.  Hitler's book  banned in many countries, as they find it "dangerous". It's very nice book for me indeed. Smiley But the level of awareness may change from one country to another. Iran is a bit more , may be. Smiley

Let me disagree. As roy said before "forbidden fruit is the sweetest".

Hope you're talking about "Memories of my melancholy whores" and not "Mein kampf" Grin By the way, banning "Mein kampf" is redundant-i find it difficult for an intelligent individual to be impressed by that stupid baby book. On the other hand, Chemberlen e.g. might be quite dangerous. And still i think banning books/writers/composers (like poor Vagner in Israel  undecided) is a bad idea.

Well, a very strange preference. His (Schiklgruber's  Grin) writing is too emotional and contradictory.

I have just seen this view and thought about it from every sides...
There is a commentary: Neither person, nor a name, individuality - animal.
Is she a person, or a person for man?!
On the other hand, is the indicator of the cultural level or a good humane indicator only to take an active part in society and to be physical seem?
May be such indicator is simply happiness - be in cheerful mood?!
Or how can we be sure that, those women who take an active part in development of Society, want to do kindness and consider themselves like a right watch dont harass the society in essence?!
I'd like to ask you - do you reproach or may be scoff at this view?
Anyway strange view.

Religion induces all kinds of repressive behaviour in humans Smiley What's the point of criticising the consequence, ignoring the cause?  Grin
