Terms of Use and Privacy Notice. Entering Forums will constitute acceptance of the terms of use. If you don't agree to abide by these terms of use, please don't enter our Forums. FORUMS RULES The Angolmois Forums gives community a place to meet, discuss and share ideas. As in a real community, users of Forums are asked to respect others. The Forums Rules, which are listed here, are intended to protect Forums users from unfriendly, disrespectful or illegitimate Forum use. Please read carefully. By posting, you agree to the Forums Rules. Angolmois reserves the right at its sole discretion to remove material from Forums at any time. Users must not use Forums to harass, threaten or attack anyone or otherwise behave in any way which would cause annoyance or distress to other users. In particular: USERS AND ACCOUNTS Only registered users may post. User names should reinforce a distinct identity, and not be similar to the names of other established users. E-mail addresses for Angolmois Forums user accounts must remain current and working. Angolmois will never spam users, non-users, or distribute user e-mail addresses to others. User titles, locations and other profile fields must not be not offensive or inflammatory. Only one screen name is permitted per user. Intentional or unintentional use of multiple screen names ("sockpuppets") are grounds for revocation of a user's right to post under any screen name. Accounts with zero posts and no recorded Forum visits in 60 days will be deleted, as will accounts not activated after seven days of registration. Accounts with one post or more will not be deleted, so the context of threads can be preserved. Contact information may be removed from an inactive account upon request. POSTING Forums primary language is English. However, posts may be written in English, Azerbaijani, Russian and Turkish. Posts should not be ENTIRELY IN CAPITAL LETTERS, L33T, netspeak, AOL-speak, chavspeak, StUdLy cApS, or text messaging-style shorthand. Threads should be started in the subforum most appropriate for the topic. Off-topic posting for increased exposure is not permitted. Follow-up posts should remain somewhat on-topic. A message may be posted in only one forum; duplicate posts and threads are not permitted. However, posts users have made at other message boards may be reposted to the Angolmois Forums. Job postings, RFQs, conference and seminar announcements, calls for papers, and other planning-related announcements may be placed. Otherwise, advertising is not permitted. This includes: - Spam and general advertisements. - Spamdexing and other illegitimate search engine optimization (SEO) techniques. - Chain letters and pyramid schemes. - Other messages and solicitations primarily intended to promote a cause, venture, organization, event Posters of inappropriate advertising will be banned. Excessive foul and offensive language in posts and thread titles is not permitted Sexually explicit or pornographic text is not permitted. The medical approach is okay, the Penthouse Letters approach is not. Threads started expressly for the purpose of meeting other posters for romantic or sexual purposes are not permitted. Messages that describe and discuss personal faith and beliefs are permitted. Proselytizing and witnessing are discouraged. Forcibly pushing a brand of religion, or lack thereof, on other users, is not permitted. Links to potentially Not Safe For Work (NSFW) sites and images must observe a two-link rule; using a link to a page that provides a link to the NSFW content, or include the URL with no hypertext link. A warning that the link leads to NSFW content should also be provided. Links to sites featuring primarily racist or bigoted content, or operated by racist or racial pride organizations, are not permitted. Links to screamer or shock sites are not permitted. Links to warez sites, or to harmful files containing viruses, trojan horses, spyware, and/or other forms of malware, are not permitted. Users should not act in any way to disrupt the flow of an ongoing discussion. If a user does not wish to participate in an ongoing discussion, or wishes to discuss a non-related topic, they are requested to begin another message thread or go to the relevant forum. Angolmois may delete postings that appear irrelevant to the discussion in which they are posted. COPYRIGHTED MATERIAL Intellectual property rights must be respected. Plagiarism or posting copyrighted material obtained from any source without giving citation or specific references is not permitted. Quotes from published material (newspaper articles, etc) should include only a paragraph or two, and a link to the article if it is available online. [ quote ] tags should be used for all quoted material. Member postings and copyright By posting, users assign to Angolmois the right to publicly display posts forever, or until staff removes them. Users assign to other users the right to reference the content of posts, in any manner allowed by the message board software; for example, quotes in message replies. Users also assign to Angolmois the right to remove, delete, hide, move, modify for content, quote, or edit any post or thread. The content of posts is solely the responsibility and liability of their authors, and not that of Angolmois. The intent of the Angolmois Forums is to be a useful resource for planners and those interested in the built environment. Information made available by altruistic users is the most important part of that resource. It is not the responsibility of Angolmois to defend alleged copyright(s) if someone copies content from this board and uses it elsewhere. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES You may be held legally accountable for what you say or do online. In particular, you may be held liable for any defamatory comments, threats and untrue statements or other illegal or fraudulent claims made by you. Your login name to the service must be in accordance with these terms. It may not include words that are racist, profane, crude or otherwise offensive. You may be held accountable for any breach of the rights of a third party if you have not obtained their prior consent to the use of their property. You agree and warrant that you will comply with the terms of any agreement required by the owner or licensor of any intellectual property rights as may exist in all software and information you access or post via Forums and to indemnify Angolmois against any action or cost suffered or incurred by Angolmois as a result of a breach by you of this term. DISCLAIMER Angolmois does not undertake to monitor every communication or the conduct of every user of the Forums service. Forums monitors may be online from time-to-time to ensure that other users are adhering to the Forums Rules. Any monitoring activity may be undertaken by Angolmois or its appointed agent, acting on its behalf. Angolmois will make its best endeavour to promptly edit or remove content which is reported to it, and it agrees based on its sole judgement - is in breach of the Forums Rules, but cannot guarantee to do so. Neither Angolmois nor its third party contractors will be liable for the content of any material accessed via the Internet or any adverse treatment of any information placed by you anywhere on the Internet or any loss or damage that you may suffer as a result. Angolmois does not endorse any opinions expressed by other users of Forums. Angolmois reserves the right at its sole discretion to remove material from Forums at any time. |
